A place where a lot of locals go to wet their whistle. All their pizzas are handmade which is a plus for the area.
Some day we plan on trying the Friday fish fry and tempting looking breakfast items.
Prices for bugers are resonable... other menu items seem fairly priced as well.
Cleanliness of the building is a little lacking but the food service ware is always clean.
Service is acceptable. Staff is always nice, if a little inattentive.
Homemade bread is so delicious. Try the stuffed hasbrowns.

We absolutely love the Friday fish frys with the big salad bar (almost a thing of the past!). You can choose fish, chicken or both. The soup and home made dessert are delicious, as well as the corn muffin and choice of potato. I do miss clam chowder, though. It would be great to have that on Friday nights! It’s a worthwhile stop as we are traveling from Superior to Hayward. We stop every couple months and enjoy the “down home cooking”. Friends say the pizza is excellent, too.
Great hamburgers! ! Frys are excellent. The bacon is really thick, crisp and wonderful. Onion rings are standard prepared frozen food but are fried well. We love the hambergers so much we have yet to try anything else! We've eaten the burgers many times over 3 years-always consistantly excellent-they've never let us down.
